Our Systems Integrator partner, Knowledgent, is hosting a Big Data Immersion Class geared towards technologists who are tasked with launching Big Data programs that must have tangible real-time benefits to their organizations.
“When and how do I use these new big data technologies?” “How do I operationalize them in my environment?” These are some of the fundamental questions that Knowledgent prospects and customers are asking and why the 3 day immersion class was developed. The content is directly extracted from Knowledgent’s engagements with leading firms in the financial services, life sciences, health care and retail markets.
In these projects, Knowledgent’s data scientists and senior architects lead proof-of-concepts where real business problems such as metrics reporting, 360 degree view of customer, regulatory compliance, and scientific research propelled Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop, into serious consideration in an enterprise technology stack.
Recognizing that there was a cross-industry need to have fundamental training on Big Data technologies, Knowledgent is hosting its first Big Data Immersion workshop this September in NYC. Facilitated by Knowledgent experts, this workshop is designed for technologists by technologists to deliver a comprehensive overview of the current big data landscape. Knowledgent’s goal for the workshop is to provide participants with the knowledge and insights they need to take advantage of the latest big data trends and technologies in enterprise environments.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be able to assess the appropriate technologies for different situations, identify challenges and opportunities around applying big data management and analytics, and manage the risks associated with implementing big data solutions in complex enterprise environments.
The class will be held September 25-27, 2013 at Convene in New York City. For more information, visit http://www.knowledgent.com/big-data-immersion-workshop
